Who are we looking for:

You are a passionate senior developer (Java/Kotlin) who wants to become a part of a well-set, cross functional team of approximately 15 persons with both experienced and young colleagues. Our culture is open, collaborative, inclusive, and you are eager to learn and keep yourself updated on fast evolving technologies, eager to share your knowledge, and not afraid to speak your mind. You are structured and thorough and have an eye for details without losing the big picture out of sight.You are a team player who demonstrates responsibility to organize your work and solve your tasks. You enjoy a diversified, never totally predictable working day, where changing focus at short notice may be required. Ideally, you have some experience with the banking sector, with general ledger or regulatory reporting. 

Senior Java developer responsibilities include:

• Being part of our skilled DevOps team for general ledger and regulatory reporting: 
• Playing a major role in the development of our systems and participating in the renewal of parts of our systems
• Contributing on a day-to-day base in maintaining our systems
• Supporting our customers when deviations occur
• Participating in ongoing major projects in Tietoevry, for example banking modernization and banking mergers
• Interacting with our customers when participating in the above mentioned activities

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• Proven hands-on Software Development experience
• Proven working experience with Java or Kotlin
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Experience with test-driven development.
• Proficient in both Norwegian and English, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication abilities on both languages
