Ready to build data products that power DNB's credit card business?

We are building the next generation cloud solution for DNB's credit card business.

At the heart of this journey sits the credit card data domain – and we need someone to take technical ownership of how that data flows, is modelled and made available in Snowflake. Our team takes end-to-end ownership of card data – from core banking systems to Snowflake – making it available to the rest of the organization and customers.

As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in making this happen.

About the team

You will join a team with end-to-end responsibility for the credit card data domain. The team sits at the core of how card data is captured, transformed, and made available, working closely with business stakeholders, other technology teams, and external partners.

Our mission is to turn complex card data into reliable, well modelled data products used across the organization and by external consumers. We own the entire data lifecycle, from core banking systems to implementation in Snowflake, and take full responsibility for data quality, governance, and usability. The team works with modern data platforms and tooling, and values clear ownership, pragmatism, and continuous improvement. We have a culture of high standards combined with openness, collaboration, and active knowledge sharing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines for extracting, transforming and distributing data
• Make data products available to consumers, third parties and internal value chains
• Ensure high data quality through automated checks, monitoring and incident handling
• Contribute to competence development and knowledge sharing within the team
• Be a good team player and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment

What we're looking for

• Experience in data engineering in complex, business-critical environments
• Solid understanding of data products, domains and modern data platforms
• Experience building and managing high-quality data products
• Strong skills in SQL and one or more programming languages such as Python
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data tools such as Snowflake
• Experience with orchestration tools and event-based messaging for data pipelines such as Airflow and Kafka
• Ability to see the big picture and connect business, data and technology
• Relevant degree from a college or university
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English
