Stillingstittel: Software Engineer - Mortage team

Frist: 13.5.2026

We are expanding our team and are looking for a skilled Server-side Engineer who can contribute to both maintenance of the existing codebase and development of the new cloud-based solution.

The Mortgage team is currently in the middle of transformation of the server-side solution to AWS cloud infrastructure, but it will still take time before it will be done entirely. We therefore operate across two technological stacks and need to support both at the same time.

The primary focus initially will be the maintenance of the existing solution (hereafter ePlatform). As the transformation goes, the focus will gradually be shifted to support and development of the new solution (hereafter AWS).

What will your day look like?

As a Server-side Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side solutions. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, UX designers and product owners. You will write and review code in a few programming languages and together with your teammates make sure that it is clear, secure, maintainable and well-documented. We, in the team, have constant focus on quality, security, and robustness.

You will help ensure our solutions are stable, scalable, and future proof, always looking for opportunities to use AI, automation, and data analysis to improve both products and processes. Product understanding is essential: you’ll be encouraged to see the bigger picture, understand customers’ needs, and contribute ideas that move our products forward. We value team members who take initiative and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for a Server-side Engineer who

  • Can maintain existing server-side solution (ePlatform) in Java
  • Can maintain and develop new features for new server-side solutions using AWS, Kotlin and Go
  • Can write reliable, scalable and high-quality code
  • Can collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers in an agile team
  • Can work across both legacy systems and new architectures
  • Have proactive mindset and is willingness to contribute to continuous improvement
  • Have good collaboration and communication skills

Personal qualities:

You collaborate effectively with others and communicate clearly, enabling good alignment within and across teams. You take initiative and show a motivation to improve solutions, processes, and ways of working. You also thrive in environments that require working across multiple technologies and in close collaboration with a team but can also work independent. You are curious and like to learn. Experience with use of AI is also a plus.

What's in it for you?

Challenging tasks that allow you to grow professionally, competitive terms, a strong engineering culture, and good career opportunities. We offer good pension conditions, employee terms on DNBs products, insurance schemes, access to resorts in Norway and abroad, sports, cultural and other activities plus a wide range of discount schemes. In addition, knowledge and experience are our most important assets, so you will have the opportunity to participate in conferences and courses, both to build your own competency and to represent DNB externally. We also have flexible working hours, extra days off and reduced working hours from May to August (summertime) and a hybrid way of work.
